DEVELOPMENT
Ashridge Estates is involved with the development and refurbishment of office, industrial, retail and car dealership properties.
We like to work with people in order to find suitable sites or properties which can then be developed or refurbished to provide premises designed to specific specifications. We have been involved with a wide spectrum of properties from new build with modern contemporary designs to historic character buildings which require sympathetic renovation and maintenance.
INVESTMENT
Ashridge Estates is looking to expand its property investment portfolio in both the commercial and residential sectors.
We have funds immediately available for acquisitions and have the ability to progress transactions within a short timescale.
Ashridge Estates is willing to pay introductory agency fees when a property purchase proceeds.
CONSULTANCY
Ashridge Estates is involved in a wide range of nationwide commercial property work where we like to work with people with the overall objective of providing the ideal property solution.
This means exploring key issues and specific needs in depth by using a consultative approach which may involve finding suitable sites and buildings, lettings, sales, planning, building regulation approval and project management.
We work professionally with the aim of focusing on providing a specialised tailor made service.
About Chris Wilkins
Chris has been a surveyor since 1978 and initially worked for Weatherall Green & Smith, now known as BNP Paribas Real Estate where he was involved in valuations on behalf of Shell, BP and Esso.
In 1981 he joined Gerald Eve & Co where he was involved in portfolio valuations on behalf of Marks & Spencer, the Grosvenor Estate and the British Sugar Corporation.
In 1983 he joined Hillier Parker, now known as CBRE where he was involved in management, planning, valuation, sales, lettings, property investment and development.
In 1986 he joined Myring Investments PLC, a St. Albans-based property company and was promoted to Property Director in 1987. Over a period of 9 years, a commercial property portfolio with a value of over £33m was built up and Chris was responsible for all aspects of managing the portfolio with properties throughout the UK and over 100 tenants including Hill Samuel, BBC, WH Smith, Brinks Mat, Lloyds TSB, Reckitt & Coleman and ICI.
After gaining a wide professional experience of property over a period of 14 years, Chris Wilkins formed Ashridge Estates over 25 years ago. The company specialises in development, refurbishment, investment and property consultancy work. Ashridge Estates is independently owned and can move swiftly and respond to matters in a fast and efficient manner.

- Fellow of the Incorporated Society of Valuers and Auctioneers 1997.
- Qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1984 and became a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 1998.
