After gaining a wide professional experience of property over a period of 14 years, Chris Wilkins formed Ashridge Estates over 25 years ago.

Car Dealerships
In Slough, Rayleigh, Brentford, Milton Keynes, Watford and Letchworth, we have been involved in the development and the internal fit out of new Toyota car dealerships. In Waltham Abbey and Park Royal we have been involved in the development of new Nissan car dealerships and, in Peterborough, of a new motor park.
Industrial
One of the main companies Ashridge Estates has worked with on industrial properties is JCB Excavators Limited and Ashridge Estates has been involved in a number of their depots and one of their largest properties, the South of England headquarters at Farnham.
Offices
Ashridge Estates has carried out a number of office refurbishments including the acquisition of offices of 16,000 sqft from Whitbread PLC in Park Street West, Luton. The offices were divided up into 8 individual self contained units and refurbished to provide buildings suitable for owner occupiers. The work involved the demolition of various outbuildings, ensuring new services to each building and the provision of car parking behind the individual offices. Seven of the buildings were sold whilst the remaining building has been retained. Nearby, Ashridge Estates has carried out an office refurbishment just off the Hitchin Road in Luton and at Chiltern House, Luton Road (A1081), Harpenden.
Retail
Ashridge Estates has recently developed a Sainsbury's Local in Rushden which has been retained. Ashridge Estates has also purchased both retail and building society premises and we are currently actively looking to acquire further investment properties.
A team approach has been adopted with Ashridge Estates working closely with other key professionals such as architects, structural engineers, quantity surveyors, building contractors, landscape gardeners, interior designers and rating advisors with whom we have established relationships over the years.
Residential
Ashridge Estates holds residential property for investment, with two long leasehold 7 storey buildings in Eaton Place, Belgravia, London SW1 held through its associated company Ashridge Investments Limited.
